About Us

When Olyn D. Taylor founded his original company, DJ Specialist, he did so with a work ethic and mind set to please any customer. Because Olyn sees each performance as its own special event, Olyn maintains the highest level of professionalism from the initial meeting until each guest has gone home for the evening. The integrity he's instilled in his company makes it a pleasure to use and easy to recommend to friends, family and other loved ones.

In 1997, Olyn joined a local DJ organization called GHAMMA (Greater Houston Mobile Music Association) to better himself and his company.

In 2013, Olyn took DJ Specialist to the next level and became incorporated and changed the name to TAYLORED ENTERTAINMENT, LLC.

Now, with decades of experience running his own company, Olyn has the experience needed to create the perfect mood. From weddings, school dances and proms, fraternity/sorority parties, pool parties to corporate events, Olyn will create the package that is perfect not only for your special event, but for your budget as well. After all, quality entertainment is priceless.

Taylored Entertainment uses only the finest in professional audio and lighting equipment. Utilizing a completely digital music library for every event, Olyn is able to deliver the best in quality entertainment and sound for your event. All equipment is cased for a most professional look and modern visual appeal.

Although an extremely wide variety of music is available (Top 40, Country, Swing, Rock, R&B), Taylored Entertainment features one of the largest “Retro Dance” and disco music collections in Houston. Included in this priceless collection are all of your favorite hits from the 40's to the hits of today.
